Repressed in 1990; original pressing has red labels, I guess the reissue has silver labels as usual.

On the Beach Blvd compilation this band still had the harmless, poppy Ramones thing going, but they have gained a lot of profile in the meantime. You can still feel their old sound here, but most of the songs have a darker, more serious tone. Some of the tracks are even a bit experimental, in a poppy Devo style; most of it is just the classic L.A. punk / Poshboy sound, though. Good LP. [7]  

Waren The Crowd auf dem Beach-Blvd-Sampler eher die harmlos/poppige Ramones-Kopie, so haben sie auf dieser LP deutlich an Profil gewonnen. In den meisten Songs ist zwar der Einfluß der früheren Phase noch deutlich zu erkennen, aber viele Songs haben jetzt einen ernsthafteren Touch, und hin und wieder wird auch schon mal etwas experimentiert; das erinnert dann an eine poppigere Version von Devo. Insgesamt eine gute Platte, bei der natürlich der Posh-Boy-typische LA/California-Punk überwiegt.
