Debut LP by the indie rock band from Hawaii/Boston. Traces of college rock, REM, but also Hüsker Dü and the Minnesota sound; there are some pretty good songs here, but much of it is still a bit rough and undeveloped, and their later records are much better. I won't include the subsequent albums because they are not actual punk, but if you like Versus, check them out, they're all great. [7]

Erste LP der Indie-Band, die auf verschlungenen Wegen in Deutschland veröffentlicht wurde. Eingängige Mischung aus College Rock à la REM, Hüsker Dü und Minnesota-Sound, aber alles recht harmlos und sanft - aber nicht seicht. Klingt alles noch etwas rauher und unfertiger als auf den späteren Platten, aber das Grundgerüst steht schon, und einige Tracks sind sehr schön. Die folgenden LPs nehme ich hier nicht auf, sie sind aber allesamt sehr schön und hörenswert.
