Various reissues on Epic and Sony, none have bonus tracks, though. The 2004 CD reissue is remastered and comes in a Digipak.

This is usually filed under “Proto-Punk” and I guess that’s exactly what it is. A lot of the energy and power is already there, screaming guitars and all, but it’s also very much a hard rock record which gives the music kind of an old-fashioned feel. Most of the songs are also slower than a typical punk song, so it sounds a bit like a KBD punk record in slow motion. Yeah, this is a classic, and it was essential for the development of punk, but in all honesty, compared to some of the great punk rock records that came out a few years later, it’s kind of boring. Läuft üblicherweise unter “Proto-Punk”, und genau das ist es auch - eine unterentwickelte Vorstufe zum Punk. Der Hardrock-Anteil ist noch sehr hoch, und die Songs sind deutlich langsamer als der typische spätere US-Punk, so dass das ein bisschen wie eine rockige KBD-Punk-Platte in Zeitlupe klingt. Mit Sicherheit essentiell für die Entwicklung des Punk, aber im Vergleich zu einigen der genialen Platten, die nur 2-3 Jahre später erschienen, eher langweilig.
