Surprise, surprise, a new Eat EP! 13 years in the making… As you might expect, this is melodic 77 style punk rock which has a lot in common with their old stuff, although you can tell that these guys aren’t 16 anymore. Anyway - this is enjoyable stuff for fans of their old records. [7]

Nach zwei (heute superseltenen) Singles und einem Tape machten The Eat erst mal 13 Jahre Pause, angeblich hat die Band aber immer in irgendeiner Form weitergelebt. Nun also doch noch neues Material, das erwartungsgemäß punkrockig ist, aber auch einige Abnutzungserscheinungen aufweist - die Jungs sind halt keine 16 mehr. Ansonsten aber durchaus genießbarer Stoff für alle Fans der alten Tage: trashiger, aber melodischer Punk.
