God, finally. Why on earth did it take them 24 years to release this? Anyway, this is the long overdue reissue of the two Fix 7”s and the track from the Process of Elimination comp. On top of that you get some demos and outtakes from the Jans Rooms sessions which are equally great. The B side has an Oct 1981 live show from San Francisco, quality is good and clear, a little too thin. This is basically the same record as the Cold Days LP on Lost & Found, with the A side sounding much clearer, the track listing making more sense, and a second studio version of Vengeance being added (“Celebre” is named “Famous #2” on Cold Days). The live show is also the same, but the song selection from that set is slightly different (two tracks removed, three added). In any case, this is an essential release for the A side. [9]

Na endlich, hat ja auch nur 24 Jahre gedauert, bis sich Herren geeinigt haben. Hier nun also endlich offiziell und in guter Qualität die beiden 7”s und der Track von Process of Elimination. Dazu gibt es noch einige Demos und Outtakes von ähnlicher Größe, und auf der B-Seite eine ganz ordentliche Liveaufnahme von 1981, krachig, aber klar, nur ein bisschen dünn im Bassbereich. Im Prinzip die gleiche Platte wie die Cold Days LP, klingt nur deutlich besser, hat einen Studiosong mehr, und von den Livetracks wurden zwei durch drei andere ersetzt. Essentiell.
