D: lost and found. lf 078 / 11 tracks / 1994

LP test pressings with white labels in regular sleeve. LP version has the original version of the Vengeance 7”; CD version only has A side (studio) tracks of the LP, all the songs have been remixed and sound cleaner, but also a bit thinner.

A side features all studiotracks (from both EPs and Process of Elimination comp. 7” plus 4 unreleased tracks). B side has a complete live set (Oct 81(?) at On Broadway Theatre, San Francisco), sound quality is excellent. A great record, but with the official Touch & Go rerelease on LP/CD you don’t really need this anymore. [8]

Compilation mit sämtlichen Studioaufnahmen - die erste (s.o.) und die fantastische zweite EP, der Track von Process of Elimination, dazu bisher unveröffentlichte Demotracks. Durchweg schneller, brutaler Midwest-HC mit fantastischer Röchel/Gröhlstimme; steht in einer Linie mit Klassikern wie Necros oder Negative Approach. Die manchmal etwas einfach gehaltenen Songs gewinnen durch schiere Energie und rohe Wut. Auf der B-Seite ein Livemitschnitt aus San Francisco mit sehr guter Soundqualität. Wenn man nicht erst gestern zum HC gefunden hat, sollte man die Platte schon haben.
