The same emotional DC hardcore like on the double 7”; same strong Hüsker Dü influence, but the Rites of Spring edge has become stronger and the band is now developing towards the classic early 90s emo/screamo sound. Some beautiful songs again, it’s just that some are a bit too long. Otherwise this is a great emotional hardcore album. [7]

Wieder der emotionelle, sehr Hüsker-Dü-ähnliche HC, den man schon von den 7”s her kennt. Hier ist der Minnesota-Einfluß zwar immer noch sehr deutlich, aber der DC-Sound (Ecke Rites of Spring) hat an Boden gewonnen, was den Songs einen eigenstän­digeren Charakter gibt; gleichzeitig sind einige Songs aber auch überlang geworden und wirken dadurch etwas monoton und langatmig. Insgesamt aber eine schöne, melodische und gefühl­volle Platte mit der richtigen Portion Härte/Fuzz.
