Noisy & insane blend of blues & noise rock; interesting, but Captain Beefheart did stuff like this a lot better years ago. [6]  

Kaputter, lärmiger Cocktail aus Blues und Noise-Rock. Die Band um Jon Spencer, treibende Kraft hinter Pussy Galore & Boss Hog, bietet einen durch­aus interessanten Ansatz, ich finde allerdings, daß sich die beiden Stilrichtun­gen beißen. Auch Jons Stimme gehört eher zum Noise Rock. Insgesamt wirkt das Ganze auf mich wie eine schwächere Captain-Beefheart-Ausgabe.
