Paul Mahern planned to issue more volumes in this series, but unfortunately this second part is already the last one. Tons of obscure bands, plus some that are better known (Zero Boys, Mecht Mensch, Tar Babies). Again, some garbage & some great tunes; if you’re into old midwest hardcore you’ll love this anyway. Zweiter und letzter Teil von Paul Maherns Samplerserie, die eigentlich auf noch mehr Ausgaben ausgelegt war. Wieder einmal Unmengen von Bands, von denen man weder vorher noch nachher etwas gehört hat; dazwischen aber auch wieder einige Hits. Zu viele Bands, um auf jede einzeln einzugehen, aber wer auf frühen Midwest-Hardcore steht, kommt auf jeden Fall auf seine Kosten, auch wenn ein paar Ausfälle das Bild ein wenig trüben; die Masse macht’s.
