Ska/hardcore from Boston; this style has been played to death in the meantime, but these guys were there early enough to retain at least a bit of originality. It's a bit different to the Operation Ivy sound, the hardcore parts are less trashy and rather in the powerful NY-style hardcore vein; the Ska parts have a cool brass section, and there are some melodies, too. Good one. [7]

Die Verquickung von Ska und Hardcore haben ja schon Operation Ivy sehr effektvoll vorexerziert; die Bosstones gehen im HC-Teil weniger trashig, sondern eher NY/Power-Hardcorig zur Sache. Ansonsten ist eben das übliche Ska-Beiwerk vorhanden, Offbeat, Brass-Section etc. Insgesamt eine interessante Sache, hat viel Power + Drive und auch ein paar nette Melodien.
