The Mob - we come to crush LP

  • big city records. bcr 10 / 12 tracks / 1986
  • + printed inner sleeve. First test press (hand written labels, no picture sleeve) has a different mix. A 1996 CD reissue named “No Rules in this Game” (on Another Planet) has the tracks from this LP, the Upset the System 7” and some bonus songs but not the Step Forward 7”.
  • Their first and only LP; more fast & furious NYHC in the style of their EPs. This is great, well-played music, but the clean production with too much reverb gives this a somewhat cold and distant atmosphere. Lyrics are a little solemn (religious?). [8]
  • Tracks: girl I need you / upset the system / spinal tap / 101 / f.a.s.t. / instant success // new metal / crucial point / your time has come / z.d.f. / doctor butcher m.d. / say you didn’t know
