Debut 45 by the Texas band that later went on to play scorching metallic hardcore. These tracks are different, though: A side is right on the edge between punk and early hardcore, rather simple, straightforward punk/HC - good and powerful. B side is slower; it’s still rocking but has some Ska/Reggae influence in the rhythm - clearly influenced by mid-era The Clash (think a faster, noisier version of Guns of Brixton). Not bad at all, but I wouldn’t call this a classic. [7]

Erste Single der Texaner, hier noch mit anderen musikalischen Schwerpunkten als auf ihren späteren Platten. Auf der A-Seite mittelschneller Punk/HC, recht einfach, aber gut und kraftvoll - geht in Ordnung. Die B-Seite ist eindeutig von The Clash inspiriert: langsamerer, rockiger Punk mit Reggae/Ska-Rhythmus à la Guns of Brixton. Ordentliche Single, aber kein Klassiker.
