Their first LP reminds me a bit of the Flesheaters - good LA punk with a very prominent, almost annoying singer. This is mainly a problem of the production/mix, though, the music is great, but the sound is a bit superficial and the vocals are mixed too loud. Still a good record, but their 7”s are much better. Erste LP der LA-Punks, die mich noch recht stark an die frühen Flesheaters erinnert - treibender Punk Rock und überbetonter, manchmal schon fast etwas nerviger Gesang. Die Musik an sich ist eigentlich sehr guter 77er-Punk, aber die Produktion ist mir zu oberflächlich, die Gitarre klingt zu schrummelig und die Vocals sind zu laut und krachig. Ansonsten eine gute Platte.
