Original has a printed b/w sheet glued to a white inner sleeve. Reissue has a proper foldover sleeve with silver & black printing.

First record by Glenn Branca’s band. A side has the typical Branca sound with multiple guitars and stomping drums; the vocals sound kind of weird, though, this music can do nicely without. B side starts more in a punk vein, but from the middle of the track it’s the usual sound again. Very interesting record for fans, all others should check out his early 12”s and LPs first. [7]  

Erstes Werk von Glenn Branca; typischer Branca-Sound mit mehreren Gitarren und stampfenden Drums. Vereinzelt gibt es auch Gesang, den sich die Band allerdings hätte sparen sollen, klingt etwas deplaziert. Die B-Seite beginnt eher punkig-schraddelig, geht dann aber ab der Mitte wieder in den Branca-Sound über. Für Fans ein wirklich interessantes Frühwerk, ansonsten gefallen mir seine ersten drei 12”s deutlich besser.
