A famous KBD punk scam: the band fed copies of this 7” into the collector market at the height of the KBD hype claiming it was from 1979; in reality it was recorded and pressed around 1985. It’s not even clear if they were from Texas, I heard the single was recorded in California. Anyway, this is extremely simple and amateurish punk with matching production; A side is a folk/country cover, B side has gory lyrics. OK, but definitely no milestone. [6]  

Obskure Texas-Single, die im Rahmen des Killed-by-Death-Rausches zunächst zu neuen Ehren gelangte, bis herauskam, dass die Platte mitnichten 1979, sondern erst 1985 aufgenommen wurde. Auf der A-Seite eine in Einfachst-Punk-Manier hingemeuchelte Country-Coverversion; auf der B-Seite ein eigener Song mit fiesem Text - auch extrem simpel und stolprig. Nicht übel, aber mit Sicherheit kein Meilenstein.
