A blend of Dischord-style late-80s post hardcore and neo 60s/psychedelia, feat. members of Nation of Ulysses and Circus Lupus. If you didn't like the Snakes LP or the Rites of Spring 7”, you'll hate the Vile Cherubs, too - they're even further from the standard hardcore sound. This doesn't have the catchy tightness of DC favorites like One Last Wish or Three, but it's definitely a good record, especially if you're into the 60s sound. [7]  

Wer schon die Snakes oder Rites of Spring nicht mochte, wird die Cherubs hassen… DC-60s-Punk vom Feinsten. Während oben genannte Bands immer noch eher zum Hardcore gehören, sind diese Jungs so ziemlich in der Mitte zwischen Dischord-typischen Post-Hardcore und rauhem Neo-60s/Psychedelia angesiedelt. Das Ganze trifft meinen Geschmack nicht exakt, ist aber unterhaltsam und interessant, und für Leute, die auf solche Sachen stehen, unbedingt empfehlenswert.
