Original has printed inner sleeve, reissue doesn’t. Reissue/repress has additional numbers scratched in the inner grooves of side A: L 32481. A set of 2 one-sided metal acetates for the original pressing was sold on Ebay in 2005.

A compilation from the golden age of LA punk. With Controllers (rough melodic 77-style punk), Flesh Eaters (their usual noisy and slightly annoying punk sound, these are three great songs, though), UXA (simple but tough punk with a female singer), Negative Trend (pre-Rik L Rik, these are different versions of the songs on the Beach Blvd comp; cool, melodic, cynical punk), Middle Class (one fast hardcore song in the style of their first 7” and one calmer track), and Germs (three great punk rock killers). Sampler aus dem “Goldenen Zeitalter” des LA-Punks. Vertreten sind die Controllers (rauher, aber melodischer 77er-Punk), Flesh Eaters (der übliche, leicht nervige, kratzige Punk-Sound, hier allerdings 3 wirklich gute Tracks), UXA (harter Punk mit Sängerin, etwas einfach), Negative Trend (pre-Rik L Rik, die Songs kennt man ja in anderen Versionen vom Beach Boulevard-Sampler, cooler, melodischer, zynischer Punk), Middle Class (ein schneller HC-Song und ein gemäßigterer Track im Stil der ersten 7”) und Germs (3 typische Punkrock-Kracher). Insgesamt eine tolle Platte, wenn man auf den alten, rauhen LA-Punk steht.
