RI (LP,CD): IT: hate records. 27 / 11 tracks / 2000

More teen punk from New York State. It's still sort of trashy, but the recording is a lot better than on their 7”, and the songs sound more like traditional punk; the Simpletones might serve as a first reference point. Not bad. The reissue LP on Hate also has the 7” tracks, the CD adds a live show (sounds more like a bootleg) and seven unreleased studio tracks, rough and noisy, but great. [7]

Teenpunk aus New York State; ähnlich wie auf ihrer 7” ist das recht trashiger Stoff, aber der Sound ist deutlich besser, und es klingt ein bisschen mehr nach “normalem” Punk - die Simpletones bieten sich als Vergleich an. Nicht übel. Auf der Hate-Reissue gibt es noch die 7”-Tracks, auf der CD zusätzlich noch ein mäßiger Livemitschnitt und sieben coole Demotracks, krachig aber gut.
