Great old school sXe hardcore, powerful, catchy, honest. First five trax sound like a blend of Gorilla Biscuits & Dag Nasty. The other tracks are older I guess (same tracks as on a demo bootleg 7”) & have a serious Youth of Today edge; good & powerful. [8]  

“Old school” nennt man wohl Bands dieser Ära, obwohl das ja auch schon die vierte oder fünfte SE-Generation war. Turning Point jedenfalls sind den meisten Kapellen der Neuzeit um Lichtjahre voraus - was Power, Ehrlichkeit und Eingängigkeit angeht. Die ersten fünf Tracks sind eine mitreißende Mischung aus NY-Posi-Sound à la Gorilla Biscuits und DC-Harmonien à la frühe Dag Nasty; genial. Der Rest ist wohl älteren Datums; klingt etwas nach Youth of Today - auch sehr gut.
