Debut LP by North Carolina’s Ugly Americans. Most of the time it’s just noisy generic ’84  hardcore, but (especially on the B side) some tracks have catchy melodies; Redneck Mountain has a Cello as a lead instrument - pretty unique. No masterpiece, but a solid debut; I like this better than their other records. [7]  

Debut-LP der Ugly Americans. Zum großen Teil einfacher, kratziger HC, der sich kaum vom Sound der anderen damaligen Bands unterscheidet. Hin und wieder hatten die Jungs aber doch witzige Ideen (bei Redneck Mountain fiedelt zum Beispiel ein Cello mit), und manche Melodien kommen auch ganz gut. Kein Jahrhundertwerk, geht aber in Ordnung. Gefällt mir auf jeden Fall besser als ihre späteren Platten.
