Uniform Choice's development had striking similarities to Dag Nasty's - first a fast hardcore LP, then a more rocking and introvert style. Good emo core with strong rock influences, similar to the third Dag Nasty LP. There is a bit too much rock in this equation for my taste, but it's still a very good record. [7]  

UC haben sich überraschend parallel zu Dag Nasty entwickelt, zuerst eine lupenreine HC-LP, dann ein rockiges Spätwerk. Im Unterschied zur Field Day LP ist aber dieses Werk noch ein bißchen rockiger, auch wenn noch ein paar schnellere Tracks dabei sind. Gefällt mir sehr gut, aber einige Tracks sind mir doch zu nahe am “Nur-Rock”. Ansonsten, wie auch die dritte DN-LP, ein gutes Beispiel von Emo-Rock.
