U.S. play complex and chaotic hardcore in the Hydrahead vein, more power violence/grind than emo/screamo influence. Good, tight and powerful, unfortunately the sound is a bit muddy. N.P. play similar music, but they’re a bit gloomier… hmm… think His Hero is gone meets early Dillinger Escape Plan. Good record. [7]  

Usurp Synapse spielen komplex/chaotischen Hardcore in bester Hydrahead-Manier, die Powerviolence/Grind-Komponente ist größer als der Emo-Violence-Einfluß. Sehr gut, kraftvoll und exakt, leider ist der Sound etwas schwammig, ansonsten aber ein Gewinner. Neil Perry sind in der selben Ecke zu Hause, sind aber etwas düsterer und getragener, dadurch auch etwas strukturierter. Gute Platte.
