Tracks 1+3 from Insomnia 7”, 2+6 from Bright Light 7”, 5 from Stars Kill Rock comp., 8 from split 7” with Scrawl, 10 from A Day in the park comp., 11 from Why do you think they call it pop comp.

The first two 7”s plus compilation tracks and four unreleased songs. Tracks 1-10 were recorded in Feb 1992 in one recording session (11-12 in Feb 1993), so this could actually be seen as the first Versus LP. Great edgy indie rock; not quite up to their later releases, but there are some incredible tracks here (Tin Foil Star is one of my all-time faves). [8]  

Singles und Samplerbeiträge, dazu vier unveröffentlichte Tracks. Da die Aufnahmen bis auf zwei Songs 1992 in einer einzigen Session entstanden sind, wirkt das Ganze auch recht einheitlich… dies ist also strenggenommen die erste Versus-LP. Guter krachiger Indie-Rock mit einigen echten Knüllern (Tin Foil Star ist nach wie vor einer meiner Lieblingssongs von Versus).
