After hearing their great Maybe 7”, I was a bit underwhelmed by this LP. It's the same concept - highly complex, jazzy/funky, mostly instrumental hardcore - and it's good music, but it's not as tight and gripping as on the EP. They want too much, and they just overload their songs with cool ideas and effects and breaks… Polvo and Don Caballero have found a more convincing paradigm for this sound of music, I'm afraid. [7]

Nach ihrer tollen 7” hätte ich eigentlich ein Killer-Album erwartet, aber obwohl das Konzept unverändert geblieben ist (hochkomplexer, jazzig/funkiger, meist instrumentaler Hardcore), kommt das alles nicht so überzeugend wie auf ihrer EP. Die Band will einfach zu viel und überlädt ihre Tracks mit immer mehr Effekten, Spielereien, Breaks usw. Immer noch gute Musik, aber Bands wie Polvo oder Don Caballero haben den besseren Weg gefunden.
