+ booklet. Blackout pressings: #1 - 1000 on gold, 1000 on gold/black (swirl I guess). #2 - 2000 on black, 500 on red vinyl. UK version has printed inner sleeve, black vinyl. Raw Deal are listed as Killing Time, and the instrumental track after Breakdown is missing. US CD reissue has a different sleeve.

A NYC compilation that shows that the sXe/Revelation sound wasn't the only game in town in the late 80s. Most of the tracks are in the classic NYHC style, brutal, powerful and metal-tinged hardcore; some songs are pretty simple, but overall this is good stuff. One of the highlights is the great Buzzcocks version by Gorilla Biscuits. [7]  

Ausnahmsweise keine S.E.-Platte aus New York, sondern ein Sampler, der zeigt, daß auch noch anderes abgeht. Trotzdem ist die Musik typisch für New York, kraftvoll, manchmal etwas einfach, moshig und mit einem kleinen Metal-Touch. Ein paar Ausrutscher sind dabei, alles in allem aber eine gute Platte; die Buzzcocks-Coverversion von Gorilla Biscuits ist sowieso Kult. Für NY-Fans.
