Obscure single from a collaboration of WS Burroughs (you know, the beatnik writer who shot his wife and wrote Naked Lunch) and Gus van Sant (the director who shot Drugstore Cowboy, My Private Idaho and tons of other movies). Two tracks taken from the “Elvis of Letters” EP: Wipers-style guitars and songs (but no real punk) plus hypnotic words by WSB. Interesting. [7]

Obskures Teil; Musik von Gus van Sant, dem Regisseur von Drugstore Cowboy und My Private Idaho, dazu hypnotische Worte von Kult-Junkie WSB. Auf der Thanx-Liste steht ganz oben Greg Sage von den Wipers; der Gitarre und dem Sound nach zu urteilen dürfte er bei diesem Projekt auch maßgeblich beteiligt gewesen sein. Sicher kein Punk, aber Fans der mittleren Wipers-Periode sollten zugreifen.
