It's hard to believe that the mighty Wipers could release an album as weak as this. Their hypnotic rock punk has been replaced by conventional, uninteresting, noisy rock; and the production is just shitty - way too much reverb on the vocals, and the guitars are much too noisy. Apart from a few acceptable songs this is a disappointing album by one of America's best bands. [5]  

Auf dieser LP sind die großen Wipers nur noch ein Schatten ihrer selbst, der hypnotische Rock/Punk ist einem klebrigen, krachigen Rock-Sound gewichen, der alles andere als interessant ist. Verschlimmert wird die Sache durch die grässliche Produktion, die Stimme ist total verhallt & in den Hintergrund gemischt, die Gitarre klingt total schrottig. Ein paar Songs lassen den Genius dieser Band erahnen, ansonsten ist das eine ziemliche Enttäuschung.
