Their first major label release has a lot more rock influences than the previous albums. Still this is great and unique music with that weird X edge, definitely not radio friendly… It's no wonder they never were a huge success with the mainstream, their songs were way to weird (and smart) for the pop radio listeners, especially in the early 80s. X sind X und X sind anders, entweder man mag sie oder man haßt sie. Sie haben wirklich einen eigenen Stil und machen gute Musik, die sich vielleicht ab dieser LP mit ’rockiger Punk’ beschreiben läßt. X beweisen, daß man bei der bösen Industrie sein kann und trotzdem nicht glatt und entfremdet klingen muss. (TK)
