Unlike their later releases, their second album can still be filed under “real punk”. There are some new influences here and there, especially country/roots rock and straight rock, but it's all still based on good, rough and melodic LA punk. Intelligent, interesting and strangely melodic, as always. [9]  

Wohl die punkigste X-LP nach Los Angeles, obwohl auch hier schon einige andere Stilelemente (Country, Rock etc.) verwendet werden. Ein paar alte Songs werden noch mal in guten neuen Versionen zum Besten, ansonsten wieder viele Hits mit den üblichen X-Attributen: cooler Duettgesang und ein zuweilen sehr ungewöhnliches Songwriting. Superb.
