A power pop band of a different kind from Florida. The title song is a classic; happy, upbeat music with nice vocal harmonies, rougher guitars, surf elements - and really really tacky lyrics. Come on, “Do Dead People Tan”?? The other songs are a bit more conventional, with some rock/rocknroll influences, but the lyrics are pretty weird, too. Special. [8]

Eine etwas andere Powerpop-Band aus Florida. Der Titelsong ist ein schräger Klassiker - fröhliche Melodien, netter mehrstimmiger Gesang, etwas angepunkte Gitarren, etwas Surfpop-Einfluss… und dazu ein wirklich merkwürdiger Text. „Werden tote Menschen braun?“. Also bitte. Die anderen Songs sind musikalisch etwas konventioneller und haben etwas mehr Rock/RnR-Einfluss, sind aber auch ganz OK; die Texte sind jedenfalls ähnlich seltsam.
