Two demos on this split double EP, fantastic early DCHC by Youth Brigade, a lot more powerful than their Possible 7”, reminds me of the early NYHC bands (Urban Waste, CFA, Agnostic Front) a lot. No Labels play fast and cynical stop&go hardcore in the vein of Void or Autistic Behavior, great. A must have for old school fans, even though the sound quality isn’t too great. [8]  

Noch ein Teil von dem Typ, der die Seiten immer nach den Labelfarben benennt (Sammler wissen, was ich meine…). Das Youth-Brigade-(DC, nicht die Californier) Demo kommt um einiges derber als ihre 7”, was vielleicht auch rauheren Demo-Sound liegen mag, erinnert schon fast an die frühen NYHC-Hämmer, klasse. Leider ist der Sound zu dumpf, aber Fans verkraften das. No Labels spielen klassischen Stop&Go-Hardcore, bissig und zynisch. Erinnert mich sehr an Void oder Autistic Behaviour (kennt die noch jemand?). In jedem Fall ein lohnendes Teil, auch wenn der Sound etwas müllig ist.
