The other New Orleans comp from 1980, like NO Experience Necessary this is a good overview... N.O. must have had a cool scene back then. 90% of the tracks are punk, and most of the songs are good or at least OK. The David Oh track is the only synth occurance, and Mandeville Mike is no real punk, but it's got the most bizarre whistling duo. Pretty good LP, but I'd say NO Experience is slightly better. [8].
Der andere New-Orleans-Sampler von 1980, wie auch NO Experience Necessary eine gute Übersicht... New Orleans scheint damals voll von guten Punkbands gewesen zu sein. 90% der Musik ist richtiger Punk, die meisten Tracks sind gut oder zumindest ganz OK. Den unvermeidlichen Synthi hört man nur bei David Oh, und Mandeville Mike ist zwar kein echter Punk, hat aber das bizarrste Pfeif-Duo aller Zeiten. Gut, obwohl NO Experience mit leichtem Vorsprung gewinnt.
