Original has printed inner sleeve, reissue doesn't. Reissue also has some additional numbers scratched in the inner grooves of side A: L 32481. I don't know if the reissue is a bootleg, but as the same pressing tools were used as for the original (apart from the additional numbers) I guess this is a legal reissue.
Mostly rough & melodic LA punk rock, sometimes a little simple; Germs, Flesh Eaters, Middle Class and Negative Trend stand out. Classic compilation. [8].
Sampler aus dem "Goldenen Zeitalter" des LA-Punks. Vertreten sind die Controllers (rauher, aber melodischer 77er-Punk), Flesh Eaters (der übliche, leicht nervige, kratzige Punk-Sound, hier allerdings 3 wirklich gute Tracks), UXA (harter Punk mit Sängerin, etwas einfach), Negative Trend (pre-Rik L Rik, die Songs kennt man ja in anderen Versionen vom Beach Boulevard-Sampler, cooler, melodischer, zynischer Punk), Middle Class (ein schneller HC-Song und ein gemäßigterer Track im Stil der ersten 7") und Germs (3 typische Punkrock-Kracher). Insgesamt eine tolle Platte, wenn man auf den alten, rauhen LA-Punk steht.
