I'm reviewing this combined CD because I don't have JUS on LP. JUS is still in the vein of their debut EP; noisy grunge rock with some melodic parts, but mostly a bit undecided. If you like their noisier side this is for you. Americruiser was their turn towards pop; a lot more in the vein of their later LP, although this is still a bit noisier and chunkier. Cool glam punk, great stuff. [8].
Die JUS-Tracks sind noch recht nah an der ersten EP. Etwas schraddeliger Grungerock, der hin und wieder schon recht melodisch ist, ansonsten aber noch etwas unentschlossen. Wer allerdings auf die eher krachige Seite der Band steht, wird Gefallen daran finden; auch die Produktion ist entsprechend. Americruiser dagegen ist deutlich eingängiger und kompakter, klingt schon viel mehr nach der Supersonic Storybook LP - cooler und souveräner Glam-Punk, der hier noch eine Spur krachiger ist als die späteren Sachen.
